"ENTREPRENEURSHIP EVERYWHERE - A Guide to Models and Resources for Entrepreneurship Education"

This resource guide was developed by the Entrepreneurship Consortium in partnership with the Appalachian Regional Commission for use in ARC regional workshops. It includes one page profiles and contact information for hundreds of entrepreneurship education programs and leadership organizations throughout the US, including local schools, statewide programs and national organizations. It also contains information about curriculum for entrepreneurship at all levels of education. Now ARC has sponsored this Resource Guide on line for you to access and the Consortium keeps it up-to date on a regular basis.

Use the format of the profiles currently included in Entrepreneurship Everywhere to provide us with the necessary information.

Small Business Success

This magazine is free for the asking. For many years Pacific Bell Directory in cooperation with the U S Small Business Administration has produced an annual edition of this excellent magazine on small business. For example, Volume IX features advice for home business success, an article on the Internet, and building an image for your business. Job Shift...How to Prosper in a Workplace Without Jobs

This interesting concept is developed by author William Bridges in a paper-back book published by Addison Wesley. We need to understand that a major shift in the way work will be available in the future is already underway. To be successful everyone will need to know how to think entrepreneurially and compete for work, both inside and outside of the company we may work for. The author is a major consultant to several hundred corporations such as Intel, Pacific Bell, Apple, and Procter and Gamble. Look for it in your bookstore.

Franchise Opportunities Handbook.

Published by the U.S.Department of Commerce (Industy & Trade Administration), this is an excellent place to start when researching potential franchises. This comprehensive guide identifies franchise owners, giving name and address, description of the business, how long in business, equity capital needed, and services provided. It is available from the U.S.Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C.
